Day 1

Day 1: From BookFox - "Think of the most deafening sound you can imagine. Describe it in great detail, and have your character hear it for the first time at the start of a story."

The shrieking of a child at play, dragons and witches, creatures of the lost within the canopy of a heady forest. She runs among the shrubs and hides behind the trunks to capture creatures and moss to conjure the most repugnant potions. Her hair flails wildly in loose curls and she places her small, delicate hand on a cool rock near the banks of a stream. Steadied and quiet, she sees her prey, a small black cat with curious green eyes, surrounded by gemlike sparkles, near the water, aglow with his magic. She crouches, grabs her gnarled wooden staff and screams from the back of her throat a piercing, stabbing cry, high-pitched and sudden - terrifying and jarring. She pounces. The wizard cat jumps and looks up to see madness engulf him.
