Day 8
“Write about a pet whose owner treats them like a human child” - Writer’s Digest
“Come on baby, please please please open wide!”
I stare at face one, their dark eyes staring at me and directly in front of me.
“You need to take your medicine so mommy can go to work!”
Their voice was very high and kept moving around in a way that made it seem they were having fun.
My tail wagged.
Did they want to go outside? Are we going outside? I would like to go outside.
I start heading to the place where we go for outside and I heard face one puff out air.
“No Agatha, we’re not going out. You are staying home and mommy is going out.”
Well that didn’t seem right.
I turn back and sit down, staring at face one and start to implore.
“Ok, whining isn’t going to help you,” face one said, standing up now and heading to the food place.
Oh food, I like food. I want food.
I begin to follow.
The food comes out, and I see face one put the small bag in with the big bowl and they place it on the floor.
I am going to eat that food.
“Good girl,” face one pats my head and walks away.
I don’t know where. I am eating food.
